Marylyne (Lyne) England has worked in the nursing profession for most of her
adult life first working as a Care Aide, then as a Licensed Practical Nurse
and later as a Registered Nurse. She went from care giving in numerous applications
to supervising many Home Support Care Givers in the Oak Bay area as a supervisor
for a large Home Support Agency. During this period she began teaching for
Camosun College on an as required basis.
When the Home Support Agency closed due to Regionalization her service expanded
further as a Teacher/Instructor of Home Support Resident Care Attendants at
Camosun College until her retirement in March 2005. Her duties with College
Students included accompanying and supervising them in many of the health care
and extended care facilities in Oak Bay and the South Vancouver Island area.
A few of the observations and concerns expressed by Lyne are;
Lyne is passionate about all phases of Health Care. She sees and recognizes the problems and feels that Democratic Reform BC can make a difference.
